Advantages of mixing Chicken feeds
ü Mixing two or three different
companies' Feeds eg Layer mash from 2 different companies will give you a
complete feed mix and better production
ü Mixing low feed mix with a higher
feed mix..eg. mixing Kienyeji mash (Low feed) and Grower mash ( Pullet complete feed)
always lowers the price per kilo and improves the feed mix
ü Mixing Kienyeji mash with raw
materials eg adding protein, premix, and calcium to Kienyeji mash will improve
the feed's crude protein, minerals, and
calcium thus lower prices and improving feeds.
NB: many
feed millers aren’t making quality feeds so mixing 2 companies will lower your
risk, it is up to you to decide the companies you will use.
